As we became increasingly aware of a demographic trend in the USA that shows a growing population that is either born in America from Hispanic parents or original from any of the Spanish Speaking countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, we wanted to lend our seasoned consulting, communication and information services to help a better understanding, collaboration and business between them and the mainstream America, principally in Southwest Florida. We had the experience; we had the skills, and a small company, so we wanted a name and then HispanicWise came to mind.
The name is, evidently, a composition of two words: Hispanic and Wise. Their meanings
Although personal preferences have led us to adopt the term Hispanic, we are fully aware and absolutely respectful of the fact that many people, mainly in the USA, rather would use the word Latin or Latino. We also know that it is not a simple matter of words; however, we personally embrace both with same enthusiasm.
According to the Dictionary, the word wise has several meanings as shown below:
wise1 (wīz) adj. wise’r, wis’est [OE wis] 1. having or showing good judgment 2. informed 3. learned
wise2 (wīz) n. [OE] way; manner.
- wise (wīz) [< prec.] suffix 1. in an (specified) direction, position, or manner [lengthwise] 2. in a manner characteristic of [clockwise] 3.with regard to [budgetwise]
HispanicWise, therefore is meant to be a seasoned, proven, skillful way for you to outreach the Hispanic/Latino markets, business and communities in the USA.
